‘All American’ is a teen sports drama series that premiered on The CW in 2018. The series is based on the life of retired NFL star Spencer Paysinger. Daniel Ezra plays lead role Spencer James, a high school football player from South Los Angeles who is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High. Bre-Z plays Spencer’s best friend, Samantha Logan plays Spencer’s love interest, Michael Evans Behling plays Spencer’s rival turned friend, and Taye Diggs plays Spencer’s football coach. The series also stars Greta Onieougou, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monet Mazur, Jalyn Hall, Chelsea Tavares, and Hunter Clowdus. 

‘All American’ is set to return for season 5 in October 2022. The show’s popularity has spawned a spinoff series called ‘All American: Homecoming.’ The spinoff focuses on Simon Hicks as she leaves LA and attends Bringston University in Atlanta.
