Yvonne Jaqueline Strzechowski, known professionally as Yvonne Strahovski, is an Australian actress who is most recently known for her starring role in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’ Since the show premiered on Hulu on April 26, 2017, the actress has been portraying the character Serena Joy Waterford, the infertileWife of Commander Waterford who is living under a totalitarian society and using June Osborne (Offred) to try and obtain a child. This has indeed been one of her best roles yet, as she has received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her performance in the series.   

Another role Strahovski has gotten much praise for is her role as CIA Agent Sarah Walker in ‘Chuck.’ The NBC spy drama series premeiered on  September 24, 2007 and ran for five whole seasons all the way up to 2012. 

In 2012, she then went on to portray the character Hannah McKay in the Showtime drama series ‘Dexter,’ and then in 2014, she portrayed the character CIA Agent Kate Morgan in the Fox event series ‘24: Live Another Day.’
